The Australian Garlic Award is a competition to celebrate Australian grown garlic that is true to its cultivar type and achieves quality standards.
The 2026 Awards are a collaboration between the AGIA and William Angliss Institute Melbourne.
Growers are able to showcase their product and have a brand of excellence to attach to their product.
$80 per garlic entered. Specify Group and cultivar.
- Entry opening date – Tuesday, 30th December 2025 (entry form)
- Entry closing date – Monday, 2nd February 2026
- Entries received by Friday 6th February 2026
- Judging commences – Monday 9th February 2026
- Winners notified by email - 19th February 2026
Our Judges in 2026 are Simon Toohey, Trevor Gray and John Olliff, supervised by Penny Woodward.
