We are a small-scale grower located in the Avon Valley in Western Australia. Our bulb seed was originally sourced from an organic grower in the South-West of WA. Dale River Farm is located close to the Dale River so our soils have a rich loam quality that we care for additionally by composting and mulching. We don't use any chemicals or fertiliser on our soils or on our crops. Through this careful attention we have produced great quality bulbs with good sized cloves that have wonderful aromas.

Garlic groups: Creole, Turban

Garlic description: Italian Purple and Rojo de Castro: Our Rojo garlic has a hotter, richer flavour which is ideal if you want a ‘kick’ in your dishes, while our Italian Purple garlic is milder and sweeter. This makes the Italian Purple a great ‘pairing’ garlic to many dishes.
